Whisper of the heart (1995) by Yoshifumi Kondo (Screenplay was written by Hayao Miyazaki)
Okay, to tell you the truth, I was kinda having negative second thoughts on watching this film. Thought this was going to be some kind lamefest BUT BOY, WAS I WRONG!
Everything started because of Shizuku Tsukishima’s curiosity towards this mysterious Seiji Amasawa, some guy who read almost every book that she borrows from the library.
Oh, there were remarkable tales told in this film that struck me hard too. The one about this very beautiful grandfather clock and the one about the baron. Beautiful but sad tales.
This one’s definitely a chick flick. I recommend this for loveless adolescent girls or for those ladies who are just plain loveless.
